About Me
Hi, I’m Yuanhe Song, or you can just call me Franz. I currently live in Germany and write here about reading, films, language learning, everyday life, and the things that stay with me. I come from a background in physics and have also worked in data analysis and engineering.
A Brief Timeline
2025–present · Hamburg, Germany
Relocated to Hamburg and am now building a new life in Germany.
2022–2025 · Shanghai, China
Worked as a test and validation engineer at a company providing software solutions for semiconductor manufacturing and chip design. My work mainly involved software product validation and data-related automation.
2016–2022 · Shanghai, China
Worked in academic research in condensed matter physics, focusing on the experimental study of superconducting materials.
2012–2016 · Shandong, China
Completed my B.Sc. in Physics.

Board Game:
- I had some experience with board games before, but after coming to Germany, I became much more interested in them. Many of the friends I have met here are board game fans, and I also feel that board game culture is more widespread here.

Performance Art
- I was involved in Cement Park - 水泥公园 as an artist and member of the organizing team during 2021–2023.
- CEMENT PARK is a live art project initiated by Lyu Desheng(LDS) and Hu Jialiang in Shanghai 2017. Its main activities include weekly performance art live houses (a recent example) and annual live art festivals.
